ADEME DPE linkage: from search to expiry alert
Confirm the right tertiary DPE record, display energy/GES ratings, and anticipate expiry: a prerequisite for compliance and BACS AI analysis.

Without a confirmed tertiary DPE, many portfolio readings stay approximate: missing energy/GHG letters on lists, pending BACS analysis, shaky portfolio comparisons. Octowise queries the ADEME database, suggests address matches (showing the DPE number when several candidates exist) and alerts before expiry.
Find the right record
Address alone is not enough: several DPEs can coexist for the same site (successive versions, adjacent buildings, approximate locations). Showing the DPE number in the picker avoids confirming the wrong diagnostic, a frequent error when creating a building.
Search relies on the ADEME tertiary DPE dataset, synced into a dedicated repository. This is not manual letter entry: it is a link to the official record.
Confirmation, snapshot, display
Once the DPE is confirmed, energy and GHG badges appear on the record, lists, and map (letter badges, not plain dots). A snapshot feeds portfolio views without replaying a manual data.gouv query at every review.
The snapshot has a date. When the diagnostic expires, the information does not vanish silently: it switches to the expiry alert.

A prerequisite for BACS analysis
BACS AI analysis relies on the confirmed DPE and the structured register. Without the ADEME link, it stays pending: that is not a product oversight, it is a guardrail. We do not want BMS recommendations decoupled from the official diagnostic.
The DPE is not a full energy audit of the site. It is a regulatory anchor and a comparison base across portfolio buildings.
Anticipate renewal
A DPE that expires at the moment of a sale, an audit, or an OPERAT declaration blocks entire calendars. The expiry alert gives time to call the diagnosticians, not only to notice the gap on the day.
