Structure in order to execute
Each plan groups tasks with status, type, and links to building, equipment, or contact. The global list (all buildings) and the per-site list share the same row: task count, type icon, status. You stop parallel “energy” kanban boards in a project tool disconnected from the portfolio.
Priorities and deadlines feed the global calendar. An action-plan milestone appears next to an intervention and a BACS deadline: it is the same operational time.
- Tasks linked to the building, equipment, or contact.
- Estimated and actual costs from attached invoices.
- Estimated versus actual CO₂ reduction in the plan.
- Building and portfolio lists, same visual reading.
Actual budget, not PowerPoint budget
Forecast cost is confronted with linked works and energy invoices. Without that link, “€80k of CEE and works” remains a grant-file figure. With it, actuals update each time a document is validated.
Finance rights stay separate: you can track task progress without opening every invoice, depending on the role.
Integrated CO₂, not a satellite module
Estimated and actual carbon reduction live in the plan, alongside budget and energy. Completed plans feed executive reporting and performance reviews, including dashboards.
You avoid the annual CSR report that does not know which works were actually done, at what cost, or on which building.
Close the Measure → Act loop
An alert or AI recommendation that does not open a plan remains an observation. The plan is the action container: who does what, for which impact, with which supporting documents.
That is especially true for the tertiary decree: 2030–2050 targets only move if action plans are tracked as projects, not as intentions in an OPERAT file.
